97% of the Web Just Doesn't Work!

The Purpose of a Website

It should be to get a message to, or get input from your customers. They are the ones who are using your site, so it should be the people on the other end of the keyboard that we are thinking about. Put yourself in their shoes. What we are talking about is making websites that adhere to standards.

Cost Less and Make More

Need more reasons to use standards? How about money? Standards will cost you less, and may make you more. That's right. The results of a standards driven site are higher search engine ranking (make more) and lower cost of change (cost less) in the future.

Can't We All Just Get Along?

Standards will make your site more accessible. Accessible means that your site will be able to be viewed by people with older equipment, people who don't see very well, people who use screen readers, people who aren't perfect. All people. Even we fine folks at 33rdPrime need more accessible sites. (Hey, I'm not broken, I just have poor eyesight!)

Stand Out and Make Folks Happy

Get an A on your website. Be in the top 3%. 97% of all websites aren't accessible. Let's help make a change for the better. Get good karma, generate goodwill, be standards compliant, and feel good about all the people you are helping. And most importantly, have a Kick-Ass website that gets the job done.
